West Indian born singing sensation Rihanna has officially become a diva-that’s the word from officials at the Oceana Club in Nottingham.
Rih Rih arrived at Oceana after playing at the Hallam FM Arena in Nottingham on Monday night. The Pon de Replay singer reportedly demanded the VIP section be cleared, champagne on the house, and burgers for her entourage.
When notified that the upscale nightspot doesn’t sell burgers, Rih sent some of her party out to pick up takeout.
Barry James is Oceana’s manager-and he has a thing or two to dish about Jay-Z’s protege: “Rihanna was an absolute nightmare, she was being a right diva. She turned up unexpectedly and her management ordered us to clear the entire VIP section. They wouldn’t let anybody within about five foot of her.”
“Then she demanded burgers for all 17 of her entourage and when we explained we weren’t a burger bar she sent someone out to McDonald’s.
“Rihanna and her people also expected free Dom Perignon champagne and vodka all night. In the end we had to ask them to leave if they weren’t going to buy any drinks at all - at which point they dipped in their pockets.”

Kanye Breaks down on stage

Kanye West broke down in tears at his first concert since the death of his mother.
The hip-hop star - who took to the stage in Paris, France, on Saturday night (17.11.07) - paid tribute to Donda as he introduced the song 'Hey Mama', saying, "this song is for my mother." However, Kanye couldn't continue as he began to sob on stage. One audience member said: "He just cracked. He was at the end of his concert and had just started to dedicate the song and then he just lost it completely." French journalist Meddy Magloire, who was at the show, added: "He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further. A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying while the band continued playing." After a few moments of silence, the 5,000-strong audience started clapping and the band restarted the song, but Kanye left the stage. He returned 15 minutes later to conclude the concert with a rousing performance of 'Stronger'. Kanye's mother, Donda, passed away on November 10 following complications resulting from cosmetic surgery. Shortly after her death, Kanye thanked his fans for their support. In a statement, he said: "Kanye West would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and kind words that have come in from across the country since the death of his mother, Dr. Donda West."

Britney Spears ran over the foot of a female sheriff's deputy during the pandemonium over the singer's court appearance last Friday – but there is no criminal investigation pending, an LAPD official tells PEOPLE.
"As Ms. Spears was leaving the courthouse, a deputy was trying to keep cameramen back, and the deputy's foot was run over," according to LAPD spokeswoman Ana Aguirre. "But this case is closed and appears to have been just an accident."
Images posted on TMZ.com show the singer's white Mercedes-Benz leaving the downtown Stanley Mosk Courthouse, with a deputy standing near her rear right tire.
As for the deputy's condition, Sgt. Naranjo of the sheriff's department said, "I can't comment on how bad the deputy's injuries are.

Def Jam have stated that the next single from the album will be either "breakin' dishes" or "sell me candy" (which was intended to be the first single). The reason for "Breakin' Dishes" is because its a fav with fans of rihanna, and music listeners in general. Also for the UK dates of the "Good Girl Gone Bad Tour" Rihanna stated good friend Ciara will be the supporting act. (I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER :P i know i already saw her, but i get excited about these things. Lol)

Beyonce let her fans know that the album she starts work on next month will not be R&B. The singer said that the album will be more dance and pop music, allowing her to be more creative an come out her safe zone. As Britney Spears fans are officially enjoying the pop singer’s hotly anticipated new album, "Blackout," already out in stores, Jive Records reportedly quit insisting that she should get more involved in marketing her own work.
According to Daily News, the pop tart must be thinking that making the tabloids’ front pages for her troubled personal life is enough advertising already since Britney is showing no interest in promoting the album she claims she worked so hard for.
"They can't get Britney to do anything!" a source close to the label was quoted by Daily News as saying. "They did get her to do one photo-shoot for some promotional materials, but beyond that, they can't trust her to even show up. This album could've been so much bigger with Britney involved."
The album’s single "Gimme More" which Britney poorly performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in September already proved to be a hit, while the album itself was well received by critics.
"This is the one opportunity they have to try and sell a million records. They were forced to [go on with] their marketing plan" — without her," the source said.
Currently ranked the number one most downloaded album on iTunes, "Blackout" was described by the Associated Press’ music writer as “not only a very good album, but her best work ever - a triumph, with not a bad song to be found.”
According to PerezHilton.com, based on the first day of sales, Britney’s album is expected to debut at #1 on the U.S. album charts.
"They don't feel they need her if she's going to keep blowing them off. She's already on the cover of every gossip magazine, and she's on Perez Hilton nearly all day, every day for her antics. Jive is just hoping to continue riding the Britney wave. The label can't afford to waste their money hoping to get some of her time to help promote this. She's too busy [hanging out] in a club somewhere," the source added.
The accuracy of the rumors was echoed by Britney herself in an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday morning.
Asked how she felt on the eve of her new album release, Britney said "It was cool. It was kind of laid-back really." As far celebrating the release and promoting the album, the singer told Seacrest "I didn’t celebrate. We watched movies. That’s about it."
The release of Britney’s album occurred the same time a judge ruled in the favor of her ex husband Kevin Federline in the fierce custody battle for their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney was granted three monitored visitations a week with the kids, while she still must continue submitting to random alcohol and drug tests and attend parenting classes.
The singer recently sparked outrage among Catholic leaders with the sexy pictures which grace the cover of her album, showing Britney seductively leaning against a church confessional alongside a priest.
"This is all the puzzle pieces coming together. This girl is crashing," said Bill Donohue, president of the New York-based Catholic League. "She's not even allowed to bring up her own kids because she's not responsible enough. Now we see she can't even entertain."

While christina is busy being "unwell" she has taken sometime to lanch her new perfume "Christina Aguilera". The picture you see above is the offical ad for the perfume and will hit stores world wide later this year. Also rumour has it that RCA are going to drop all promotion for "Back To Basics" in order to focus on the new live package of the tour which will be released soon. This is Christina's 6th perfume in some Europen countries.

This is also the new ad for Britneys new perfume "Believe" it hits stores soon. Also Brit is expected to be a performer at this years VMAS along with Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Amy winehouse and Lily Allen.

Singer Amy Winehouse has cancelled a series of European shows after being admitted to hospital suffering from "severe exhaustion".
The 23-year-old singer was taken to University College London Hospital on Wednesday morning and later discharged.
Organisers of Norway's Oya Festival, where she was due to play, said that she cancelled without explanation.
A spokesman for Winehouse's record label, Island, said the singer had "been advised to take complete rest".
Other concerts in Norway and Denmark have also been pulled.

Britney Spears’ has found her self in a double whammy! Not only has she alleged that her son (not stated which) was hit last night during a Las Vegas brawl, but she could be in trouble for having her sons in Las Vegas in the first place! The troubled former pop princess had been at the Wynn Hotel and Casino for less then 24-hours with her children when the fight broke out. A police spokesman said: “Responding officers determined that a private security officer, later identified as Julio Camera, was escorting Britney Spears through the Wynn property when an altercation occurred between Mr Camera and a photographer who was attempting to take pictures of Ms. Spears. It was alleged that during the altercation the photographer was battered by Mr. Camera. Detectives from the violent crimes section responded and, following their investigation, Mr Camera was issued a citation for misdemeanor battery. The photographer received minor abrasions during the incident. A second Crime Report was also filed by Ms Spears on behalf of her minor child. In that report it was alleged that prior to the above incident a second photographer, identified as Kyle Henderson, battered both Mr. Camera and Ms. Spears’ child, who was at that time being held by the security officer.” The fight could not have come at a worse time for Spears who was already under fire for her parenting and for taking her kids away to Sin City amid concerns from her family about her recent erratic behavior. The trip could cause the star problems in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Under California law, neither parent is allowed to take a child out of state without written permission from the other - or by obtaining a court order.

Bey Working on new album/falls on stage

Recently it was said that R&B singer Beyonce will head back to the studio in oct to start work on her 3rd solo album. The release date is said to be jan 2008. But is yet be be comfirmed. But in the mean time beyonce has two new singles in the airwaves "Green light" which sadly peaking badly in the U.K, and "Get me Bodied" which is slowly moving up the U.S billboard due to bad promotion on both singles. Amelle recently said "the album will be released in the U.S, and hopefully will see the sugababes audiences get bigger with the new sound we have created".
